She shook her head, knowing he was avoiding her question. But that was exactly what she was getting at. Sometimes you don't know everything nor see everything. He didn't seem like a blue flower.... more like a closed one just needed to open. "I miss the sand and the ocean. It's beautiful..especially at night. With the stars shining on them....it's amazing." She looked down at the crown and frowned slightly before looking up at him and smiling as their eyes met. "So what made you want to come here?" ainsley The sea. He imagined the sea at night, her words creating a world as he looked at her. At how her expressions changed, and the subtly hints of confusion (or something) settled in the edges. "I can understand why. The ocean is our own way of saying that we're alive, that we exist. We wouldn't have been on the moon if it hadn't been for the existence of the ocean."
What had made him come to the lunar base? It had been a lifetime opportunity, it was a way to escape from the earth and reimagine life. "It was rather... impulsive. An opportunity that I couldn't turn away from. I mean, the moon. The circle in the sky at night, the one we only dream about going to, and suddenly-- and suddenly there's an opportunity to do just that," he glanced down at the crown, taking it in his hand before settling it onto her head. "What about you?""I-I never thought about it like that. To me, the ocean was just a way of getting away from life. An escape. One I needed pretty often." She chuckled softly. She really had never thought about the ocean that way. It had really just been a place for her to get away from her hectic life, which she was grateful for. Akirra smiled when he put the crown on her head. "Kind of like a new adventure?" She reached up and touched the crown, feeling the soft petals against her fingertips. "That's why I came. It sounded like an adventure I just didn't want to miss."

I mean, haven't you been dreaming of going to space, to live in a safe bubble with death just out the safety latch?" He picked up a piece of grass, tickling it against her cheek before falling backwards onto the ground. Stretching, closing his eyes instead.
"I wonder what I would have been doing right now if I hadn't gone to space. Would I just be inside, binge watching something?"

Laying on her stomach behind him, she rested her chin on her hands and yawned softly. She really hoped he hadn't seen that. Her run from earlier had worn her out and she hadn't planned on being out here this long, but she didn't want to stop talking to him because she was getting tired. She hummed at what he said next. "There's no telling." She chuckled. "But I know I'd probably either be sleeping, working, or out at the beach." She hummed.

"There is truly no telling, but I most certainly wouldn't have been able to meet someone like you if I had stayed stuck on earth."
He turned his head to the side, watching her; her side-profile, her hair falling in strands, and the petals of the flowers adorning her head. "Tired? It's-- it's getting late, right? We should probably start thinking about heading for our own places. Head for bed."

"Nor would I have met anyone like you." She chuckled and shook her head. She'd never met anyone like him before and she doubted she'd meet anyone like him had she not come here. She was happy she'd come on this adventure. "No. I am fine. I'm not really sure how to tell how late it is here.....Un-unless you want to go?" She raised an eyebrow at him, holding back another yawn. Yes, she was tired, but she really didn't want to go yet. Of course not. But if he wanted to go, then she'd go to bed. ( Agape)

Samantha
I go back to my after the pictures were printed and start I doing things I have always wanted to do in space, or on the moon in this case. I wonder why they never named earths moon like they do with the others. Plutos' moons have cool names while our moon is just known as moon.
I look at the list I had made on earth. Which was quite long, enough to keep me occupied for awhile. It had the basics in the beginning of the list, but as I read forward I can see when I started running out of ideas and went with some of the most random things.

He nodded his head, quietly, pushing himself up from the ground. Looking over her, he settled a hand on her head, ruffling up her hair. "Apologises," he whispered, stretching his arms above his head. "Although I enjoy being with you, and would be here for like, forever, I'm gonna hit the bed. I mean..." He rubbed the back of his neck. He hated turning down conversations and keeping people with company.
"I think it's for the best, for the both of us. Too much excitement in one day," he laughed awkwardly.

She stuck her tongue out after him afterwards and proceeded to sit up. She watched him for a moment before sighing. "I suppose I need some sleep." She chuckled, holding back an arm. Holding out her hand towards him she gave him a small smile. "Help me up?" She really didn't feel like sleeping in her bedroom. Maybe she'd go retrieve one of her books and go find the library and read until she was ready to sleep.

"But yeah. I-- I'm glad I took the courage to speak to you back in the cafeteria, Akirra."

I'm glad I got to meet you and talk to you today, Ainsley."

He stood there, tripping back and forth on his feet as he watched her. "And I had fun as well."

He followed her, a small skip before meeting up to her, walking next to her. He was filled with a deep set regret when he thought of ending the night right there and then, but both he and Akirra had expressed their exhaustion. Ainsley felt that it was better like this, because they always had tomorrow (and so many more days to come) to get to know one another. At least, in space, they were not awfully alone.
"Pity that us humans needs energy and all that jazz," he told her with a humouring tone, giving a small throaty laugh. "We could have achieved so much by constantly being awake. Of course we wouldn't be as imaginative, but-- oh well. Sleep is necessary on a growing brain."

Who knows where the world would be if that were possible?" She glanced over at him for a moment before glancing back at the path ahead. She could see the door up ahead. "But then again, without sleep we would not have the dreams that inspire us." She shrugged. "It is a blessing and a curse."
