"Hello there." I say as I try typing in my messages to my friend who was basically spamming me with questions. "What brings you here?" caspian He glanced at her tablet with a slight huff, before grinning at her; his arms crossed over his chest, taking in the sight of her typing out in a flurry. "Bothersome friend?" he asked, nodding to her tablet, leaning against the wall. "I came to check in on you, really briefly. Thought you'd like on getting to know your fellow co-workers."
With a mock salute, he allowed a laugh to press out, shaking his head. "No, but really. Is this a bad time for you, or are you just trying to play it cool?" With an arched eyebrow, he indicated towards her tablet. "It's my friend, I mean I love her and all but she needs to let me type for more than 5 secounds. But I wouldnt say it's a bad time, I'm just wondering how she can type this damn- darn I meant darn fast." I continue to type her. Now she's just asking stupid questions like 'What type of marble?' and such.

ainsley He whispered her name in repetition, trying to get a feel of the name before smiling. Taking his cup of coffee, he drank it as he listened to her speak. It was obvious that he was not alone with the feeling that this place spoke of no-good.
"It's a weird vibe, that's the best I can describe it," he said, settling the cup down on the table. He felt better, knowing there were others that saw it how he did. "I have only met Lovell; she was the one helping me to my room. Overly professional, but kind in the same route."
She had been a surprise to him -- her quick to work and easy set questions -- but he wished he could have seen another side of the attendant, her professionalism like a big wall to his want to crack jokes. Oh well, there were always another time, he concluded."Definitely. Something just feels......off, you know?" Pushing her now empty plate to the side, she drank some of her apple juice before setting it back down. "I met her. She helped me get here from the gym. She seemed pretty nice. I had met another attendant, never caught his name, but he creeped me out a bit when I met him." She shuddered slightly at the thought. Something about that one didn't sit right with her. At least not all of her experiences with the people here were the same. Ainsley seemed really nice so far. ainsley Fingers tore apart the toast, and he ate it slowly, trying to digest the conversation he had with her. It was not many he had met so far -- only Akirra and Lovell -- and it was fine. He popped a piece of the toast in his mouth, listening to her encounter with the other attendant.
It sounded, for the lack of words, terrifying. "Wait, the guy. He didn't creep on you?" he sat at the edge of his chair, concerned for his fellow resident, peering over his shoulder at the kitchen workers. "Did he do something to you that made you uncomfortable? I'm sure they must have some kind of system here that's--," he ran a frustrated hand through his hair, tugging at the strands.
"Look, that guy-- he will have karma come at him, I'm sure of it." He was not sure of it, at all.

"We have all had them, at some point in our lives. You should just text and tell her to ease down with the questions, and that you are all too happy to answer them if she could allow you to breathe for a second."
He thought his suggestion wasn't all too bad, but perhaps she would take it badly or her friend would; who was he to know? Flipping his tablet, he checked the system: still stable, and still good enough satisfaction from the residents. "Also, never underestimate a woman with a question: the typing ability at that point is off the chart."

He told me I was vandalizing the place, which I kinda was since I marked on the wall to help me gain my bearings in this place, and then he randomly gave me an apple. He just....overall kind of creeped me out. Especially since he already knew my name without me telling him. It just.....unnerved me I guess." She explained quietly, sitting back after she finished explaining and removing her hand from his arm. "I'm okay though."

Something in him hushed him up, to not talk about his stash of alcohol and his growing headache from the lights that the screens emitted, and he allowed the silence to consume him instead over the matter. It was not that uncommon. Not many played games, and that was completely okay (by his own standards).
"Games, especially flashing games, gives me headaches, so I keep myself from playing them at all."

Her expression was so serious, but the tone was so settled. Assuring. He touched her hand, shaking his head. She shouldn't have experienced anything like that; having some attendant come up to her like that.
"You shouldn't have been harassed like that," he told her, letting his hand fall to the table. "Even if you were vandalising the place. I mean, this place is confusing, and he should have seen it in your place and just let you off on a warning."
He frowned. Eyes looked to hers, a sense of confusion enveloped him as he stared at her. "Wait, he gave you an apple? And he knew your name...? I'm-- I'm sure they have our names in the register, alongside our faces. For safety protocol. But that apple? He definitely exceeds the word weird."

"And as for giving me a warning, he tried negotiating that he wouldn't report me if I let him show me to my room. I, um, declined him for sure, but still....." She wanted to move on from this subject now. It was starting to dim her mood down from what it had been before. So, she plastered a bright smile on her face. "Have you seen their garden here yet? I was going to go look for it after I ate."

He looked away, at his half-eaten food and almost empty coffee cup, allowing a sigh to leave his lips. Akirra's words were so apologetic towards a stranger who had impacted her with a negative impression.
Twisting a smile of his own onto his lips, he allowed a shrug, pushing at his plate to indicate that he was done for. "No, I haven't; we could go there together. I want to feel grass under my hands. I never knew how much the moon could make me miss home; it looks so far away when you look at that spinning sphere."

The profiles of the residents rested in his hands, and he skimmed over them for a while, glancing at her.
"Why? Such random fact as well..."

Spinning on her heel, she walked towards the door with a little bounce in her step. Glancing over her shoulder at him, she smiled. "Come on!"

He had never known those words would ever come from his own mouth, his hands pressing against her shoulders as he steered her lightly out of the cafeteria. Excitement was so easy to come across, at least when he would experience something new with someone he -- most probably -- would one day consider as his friend.

Knowing the fact that she had not met that many people, and yet was overtly friendly, kept him at his feet. "It's amazing to think that decades ago, they weren't even considering having a lunar base. Look at us now, walking on the moon. Living on the moon."
He looked up at the open ceiling, watching the blue planet above them (or was it underneath them?). "The place where I'm from is not visible by the naked eye when looking at the earth like this. I'm from the isles; Scotland to be precise. What about you?" he asked, looking at her as they walked through the naked hallways. Just them and their shoes hitting the flooring.

"It's incredible," he repeated, his breath elevated as he checked at a door, curious what to find. "And it's especially incredible with how they gave us the possibility to leave the earth to experience it. I mean, a Scottish person together with a Holland-born Australian?" He glanced over his shoulder with a cheeky smile.
"When we get back down, I will take you there," whenever that was going to be. How long had they been signed for this opportunity? Indefinitely? He pushed the door open, the smell of wet dirt hitting his nose as he looked on the small scenery; a garden. Not overly complicated, but it definitely was a garden. "Looks like we found it, Akirra; time for us to feel like home, for once." He grabbed onto her hand, dragging her along; deeper and deeper into the plant life.

"I know. It's astonishing and exciting. If we can make it this far in such a short time, we'll be flying off to different galaxies in rockets before you know it." Her eyes were little with excitement when she spoke and she laughed at the look on his face. She was surprised by what he had said next. "You will?" She asked curiously. Nobody had ever really even suggested taking her somewhere to visit. Other than this trip, she had never left the continent. She yelped slightly in surprise when he grasped her hand and pulled her after him, but she quickly picked up her pace to catch up with him. She breathed in relief when she breathed in the scent of dirt and grass and various plants. She missed this. She ran her fingers gently over a plant as they walked through the garden. "I've missed this."

caspian The question put him out of loop, making him almost drop his tablet to the floor. Clown...fish? He furrowed his eyebrows before shaking his head. "I have never been quite that interested in a fish's anatomy, Lovell," he told her earnestly, peering down at the tablet. The profiles of the residents rested in his hands, and he skimmed over them for a while, glancing at her.
"Why? Such random fact as well..." "It just kind of popped up in my mind. I used to want be a zoologist when i was little." The game was almost finished loading. It takes long to start up but it's worth it sometimes. caspian Caspian raised an eyebrow at that. He could not really see this prim and proper woman, with the air of some professionalism, to be interested in being a zoologist, of all thing. Peering at the game she was settling into playing, he shrugged. "I wouldn't take you for a woman to be down with the animals, really."
He combed through the notes on his tablet, heart steady as he watched doors to the common areas activating at someone triggering them. Nothing unusual, he presumed. He hummed. "Like, now for instance; up in space, playing video games while having chatted with your friend... sound very much like a girl wanting to become a zoologist."

ainsley He read the signs on the wall, wondering where they were right now, but listening to her was such a blast. "It's incredible," he repeated, his breath elevated as he checked at a door, curious what to find. "And it's especially incredible with how they gave us the possibility to leave the earth to experience it. I mean, a Scottish person together with a Holland-born Australian?" "I've missed this." ainsley They could set out for the stars, like those old video games that his parents had played back in their youth. Set out and see the wonders, finding alien life. He grinned at the prospect of that thought. It was such a wild imagination; the humans having been born with a wonder for the universe above them. "Consider it a promise," he told her, letting go of off her hand, taking a step backwards as he watched her facial expression change.
"Up to par with what you envisaged?" he asked, fingers trailing over frail flowers, wondering how they even managed to be grown on this rock, kilometres upon kilometres away from their home planet. "It's gorgeous, and... and I never knew how I have been taking the plants and woods for granted."

Samantha
I listen to some instermental music on my phone, while getting out my camera to take pictures, I take some of my room and of course space. I start to realize I'm going to need to print these pictures after the 11th picture, there has to be a printer around here somewhere right? I walk around looking for a library or at least any type of place that would have a printer.

"I love animals, I have always had an interest in Portuguese man-o-wars. I have more of a liking to marketing now though. And you know something something ironic? I used to not even have a slight intrest in space." The game finishes loading and I start to choose my class. My team needs a medic so I go into medic mode.

"That's pretty ironic," he spoke out, thrumming his fingers against the tablet, wanting to roll back to his own space, strum on his ukulele with no care for the world. Still; work. "At least you saw away from the dirt you stood in back on earth, and imagined what it would be like working amongst the star."
