caspian He shut down his tablet, leaning back in the chair, closing his eyes as he listened to the clicking from the computer mouse, hearing how she talked, conveying information at his questions. "That's pretty ironic," he spoke out, thrumming his fingers against the tablet, wanting to roll back to his own space, strum on his ukulele with no care for the world. Still; work. "At least you saw away from the dirt you stood in back on earth, and imagined what it would be like working amongst the star." "True. What do you like about space most?" I ask as I start healing up a soilder in the game which only took a few secounds to do. caspian Space; space was vast, unexplored. A world built up on atoms and gas, and spinning bigger, moving. Expanding at their own naked eye without them knowing about it. And what did Caspian like about space the most? "Maybe due to the fact it's still not explored as much as we can, that we have been stuck on earth far to0 long to call it healthy. What about you, Lovell?"
He settled to open up the videos of the facility, seeking out a specific red-headed individual who most likely was stuck with her head in some computer science-y stuff. Finding her, he watched her for a few seconds before deciding against the better, opening his messages. Clever messages came a long way with her, but-- he was a sleep deprived drunkard who couldn't think further than work and the redness of her hair to really muster anything clever.
As he kept Rosaline Lovell with company, he allowed himself to send off a text to the little red with her computer-whizz head -- Clancy Mars -- "i came to think of something: you'd be more likely to give more effort on the naming process of your wi-fi and computer, than your firstborn. correct assumption, or am i just making an ass out of myself?"

"I like the planet mercury." Damn my answer sounds stupid. I heal the same person 3 times, they had only 1 health left. One of my team members almost had the flag but that got shot before I could heal them. I start self healing since I took quite a bit of damage.

"Mercury?" the question was on the tip of his tongue, and he looked at her. A small rock, so close to the Sun, was her favourite planet and favourite thing about the universe. He tilted his head as he measured her with a steady gaze. "What's so interesting about a tiny rock burning up next to our time bomb, the Sun?"

A competitive streak was showing in how she was adamant on getting her team going, and he allowed himself to look down at the tablet instead. A huff of a laughter escaped him, but he shook his head.
As it was, Clancy the Martian was married to her job and livelihood: the creation of the computer and massive availability to the internet. But the bird she flipped him made him stifle his laughter against his hand. Oh, he had buried himself deeply into it. From one computer addicted person to another; how was he going to manage?
"Lovell," he spoke, stretching his arms like a person who had been sitting still like a statue for hours (he certainly felt like one), but allowing a breath escape him. "I'm gonna go; I don't wish to bother you any further. But let me hear about the Mercury's space sondes another time, alright?"
Standing up from his chair, he ruffled the other's hair before giving a small wave as an adieu. "And do kill those bastards on the game; good luck."

Clancy
"Ding!" Sighing and going to another tab, Clancy read the message and almost visibly choked on her most recent juice at the sudden dork. "My first born will likely never be born; but my work and love of the internet is very much alive... so your assumption is correct." Checking the cams quickly, she watched playback footage of his stalking and confirmed her suspicion. With a slight smirk on her face and sharp eyes; she turned her lab chair to the camera in the room and flipped the bird right at it before turning and writing to him again. "Peeking at your fellow workers isn't quite in the job description weirdo. Might as well come into my hobbit hole if you want to slack off and observe this boring vampire."
caspian His steps echoed off the walls as he hurried down the hallway; he wanted to stop by his room, pick up his instrument and a bottle of red wine to drink while strumming. Clancy was... strange, for the lack of words. But in a sense, she intrigued him to see who she really was. Was she simply a woman with a computer tech heart?
Picking up his stuff from his room, he wandered down to her room; her hobbit hole, as she so nicely nicknamed it. It was like a tiny hobbit hole. Her tiny, little place. Hidden in the dark.
He stopped outside her door, looking at it with a tiny sensation of turn around and walk away. But he entered the room nonetheless, a boisterous and cheerful; "I bring wine as a means of bribing to let me play some music while you work," he shook the bottle in his hand, a grin spreading on his lips. "And how're your children?"

Antedeluvian
Deluvian crinkled her nosed and drew her knees up to her chest, looking straight at the other girl "No one actually likes money. We just like the things it gives us." She said, looking away and down at her hands. She reached for another biscuit to find the tin finished. Guess she should really work on how quick she ate. [Adara]
Adara's mouth twitched to a slight hint of a smile. "Maybe I like its smell; or the way it feels. Don't speak for the world." Turning her body towards the new acquaintance, she tilted her head to the wall. "Why did you join?"
Antedeluvian
Deluvian blushed a deep shade of red, her entire face contoured in different pinks at the embarrassment of "I wanted the first edition copy of a Christmas carol." She said quickly within an heavy exhale of breath.

"I know. It's astonishing and exciting. If we can make it this far in such a short time, we'll be flying off to different galaxies in rockets before you know it." Her eyes were little with excitement when she spoke and she laughed at the look on his face. She was surprised by what he had said next. "You will?" She asked curiously. Nobody had ever really even suggested taking her somewhere to visit. Other than this trip, she had never left the continent. She yelped slightly in surprise when he grasped her hand and pulled her after him, but she quickly picked up her pace to catch up with him. She breathed in relief when she breathed in the scent of dirt and grass and various plants. She missed this. She ran her fingers gently over a plant as they walked through the garden. "I've missed this." ainsley They could set out for the stars, like those old video games that his parents had played back in their youth. Set out and see the wonders, finding alien life. He grinned at the prospect of that thought. It was such a wild imagination; the humans having been born with a wonder for the universe above them. "Consider it a promise," he told her, letting go of off her hand, taking a step backwards as he watched her facial expression change.
"Up to par with what you envisaged?" he asked, fingers trailing over frail flowers, wondering how they even managed to be grown on this rock, kilometres upon kilometres away from their home planet. "It's gorgeous, and... and I never knew how I have been taking the plants and woods for granted."Her smile grew a little, but then she held out her hand, her fingers all curled into her palm except for the last one. She held it out towards him. "I may be considered an adult, but I still do this. Pinky Promise?" She chuckled a little, a small, hopeful smile on her face. She really didn't doubt him, but she still wanted to be absolutely sure.

"I think that's a lovely enough reason."
Antedeluvian
Deluvian visibly relaxed, smiling slightly at the other girl. She shuffled, taking her hand against her knee "Are we suppose to be here?"

Pyron
The hard floors were cool against his back as he laid out in the hall playing games on his phone. He knew it was unhealthy to lay around in his room all day, which he had already found, but he didn't feel like exploring the rest of this place. So his solution was: lay out in the hallway and play games on his phone.
Sighing lowly, he unconsciously loosened his grip on the phone and it slipped from his hands, landing on his face. He let out a surprised cry as it simultaneously land on his nose and forehead. Grumbling lowly, he pulled the phone off of his face and rolled over onto his stomach.

( Flamey ) Pyron continued playing on his phone, but when he lost on the very last level of the game, he let out a frustrated shout and shoved his phone across the hall. It hit the wall with loud bang. He hit his against the floor angrily. "It has a case. It has a case....shit." Jumping up, he scrambled across the hall and scooped up his phone, looking it over for damage.

Maybe the phone dropped and that's what made the noise? But I don't think phones drop that loud.

He cringed as it landed with a loud mix between a crack and smacking noise, but slumped his shoulders in resignation as he looked up at her. "Sorry. I don't know where it is." He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "But....I could help you find it if you want?" A small smile slipped onto his lips as he waited for her response.
