Discuss your favorite Studio Ghibli films below. Please keep spoilers at a minimum. Thank you.
(I've been binge-watching a bunch of them lately, and my breath is taken away by how magical they are. They make me feel like a little kid again...)

When Marnie Was There (2014)
A fantastic film (and the newest), and I adore it so much. I cannot describe what makes me love it, exactly, but seeing two girls depicted like girls just warms my heart. They give a voice to a film about friendships. Despite this, they have secrets, which comes forth during the summer. When Marnie Was There is based on a novel, but the creators decided to set the story in Sapporo instead of the original Norfolk, England. I like how they kept the essence of the novel in the film, but adjusted it to fit the story from a Japanese angle.
Howl's Moving Castle (2004)
An incredible film by Hayao Miyazaki, and will always be my favourite. Watched it back when it came out when I was just in fourth grade. It was an amazing experience, and I loved how it looked and how the technology in this world looked. The story about finding oneself and helping others have always been a great favourite to me. To be frank, this is one of the stories and animations that I will most likely show my future children (if I ever have some) or my future cats (most likely going to happen) because it had such a great impact on me as a person.
